Privacy Policy

What happens to personal data when you visit neue7.com or contact us: one language cookie, analytics without cookies, and requests used only to answer you.

Dernière mise à jour

Ce document est publié uniquement en anglais.

NEUE7 Entertainment Ltd. ("NEUE7", "we", "us") runs neue7.com. This policy explains what personal data the site handles, why, who helps us with it and what you can ask of us. It applies from 12 October 2026.

In short

  • The site sets one cookie, only to remember your language, and it's deleted when you close your browser.

  • Our analytics use no cookies and store nothing on your device.

  • When you send us a request, we use it to answer you. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell personal data.

1. Who we are

NEUE7 Entertainment Ltd., 45 Republic Street, Valletta, VLT 1112, Malta, decides how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller. For anything about this policy or your data, write to legal@neue7.com.

This policy covers neue7.com and the requests you send through it. Our products are offered to businesses under written agreements, and the data we process to provide them is covered by those agreements and by the notices in the products themselves.

2. Visiting the site

When your browser asks for a page, our servers receive the technical details every web request carries: your IP address, your browser and device (the user agent), the address you asked for, the page that sent you and the time.

  • Delivering pages. Our hosting provider runs the site's servers in Frankfurt, Germany, and pages reach you through its global delivery network. Images and video load from assets.neue7.com through a content delivery network.

  • Protecting the site. A security service checks each request for attacks and unwanted automated traffic, using the same details, and can block a request it identifies as an attack or a bot. Search engines and link previews get through.

We do this because we have a legitimate interest in running a site that works and is secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Analytics without cookies

We want to know which pages help visitors and which don't. Two services tell us, and neither uses cookies or stores anything on your device.

Our analytics service, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, records:

  • the pages you view and leave, and the sections you scroll to;

  • clicks on links and buttons, and that a form was used, never what you type into it;

  • the kind of demo you ask for, when you send a request;

  • your browser, operating system, device type and screen size, and the site or campaign link that sent you;

  • an approximate location (country, region and city) worked out from your IP address;

  • how fast pages load, errors in the page and where on a page visitors click.

It receives your IP address with these events and keeps it with them. It counts visitors with a code it calculates on its servers from your IP address and browser details. The calculation changes every day, so visits on different days can't be linked. We don't record sessions.

Our hosting provider's web analytics counts page views and records the page, the site that sent you, your country, browser, operating system and device type. It recognises a visitor by a code calculated from the request, which expires after 24 hours, and doesn't store your IP address.

We use analytics because we have a legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and improving it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Nothing is stored on or read from your device, so the rules on cookies don't require your consent. You can object at any time (see section 10).

4. When you contact us

The contact form asks for your name, work email, company, what you're interested in and a message, and optionally your role. It also sends the language of the page you used. We need everything except your role to answer you.

Before a request reaches us, our security service screens it. It receives the email address you entered and checks that it can receive mail and isn't disposable, and it refuses requests from automated clients and too many requests from one connection in a short time. For a request it lets through, it adds whether the address is from a free email provider, and what it can tell from your IP address: an approximate location, the network you're on, and whether you're connecting through a VPN, a proxy, Tor or a hosting provider. This helps us spot spam and decides nothing else. If the form turns you away, you can always write to info@neue7.com.

Your request then reaches our team as an email, sent by an email delivery service from its servers in Ireland to our mailbox at our business email provider. Email you send us directly arrives in the same mailbox.

We use your request to answer you, arrange and hold a demo, and discuss working together. We don't add you to a mailing list. We rely on the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and keeping spam out (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Errors and security reports

If our servers hit an error, a technical report goes to our error monitoring service, in its EU data region in Germany: what failed, the page address and the browser. Our pages also tell browsers which sources they may load. When your browser blocks something that breaks those rules, it sends that service a short report with the page address, the blocked address and your browser details. We use these reports to fix problems, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Cookies

The site sets one cookie:

Name

What it does

How long it lasts

Next-Locale

Remembers the language you're reading, so the site opens in it

Until you close your browser

It's a first-party cookie that only keeps the site in your language, so it doesn't need your consent. The site sets no other cookies, keeps nothing in your browser's storage and loads no advertising or tracking pixels. Our fonts come from our own servers, and our articles and legal pages come from our content system through our servers, so your browser doesn't contact either.

7. Who receives your data

Only the providers that run the site for us receive personal data, each bound by data protection terms:

Write to legal@neue7.com and we'll tell you which companies these are.

We may also disclose personal data when the law requires it or to protect our rights, and to a buyer if our business is transferred. We never sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Links to other sites, such as our social profiles, take you to services with their own privacy policies.

8. Transfers outside Europe

Some of these providers are based in the United States or use servers outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. When personal data goes to a country without an adequacy decision, the transfer relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where the provider is certified under them, or otherwise on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum. Write to us for a copy of the safeguards that apply.

9. How long we keep data

  • Contact requests: while we're in touch about them, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless they lead to working together. Our agreement then sets how long records are kept.

  • Analytics: our analytics service keeps events for up to seven years, the retention of our plan. Our hosting provider keeps its page-view counts for the period its service provides.

  • Error and security reports: up to 90 days.

  • Server and security logs: only as long as our hosting, delivery and security providers need them to deliver and protect the site.

  • The language cookie: until you close your browser.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you can ask us to:

  • tell you whether we hold data about you, and give you a copy;

  • correct it;

  • delete it;

  • limit how we use it;

  • give it to you, or to another company, in a machine-readable form;

  • stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interests, including for analytics.

Write to legal@neue7.com. We answer within one month and may first ask you to confirm who you are. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Malta, where we're established, that's the Information and Data Protection Commissioner, and you can also go to the authority where you live or work, or where you think your rights were infringed. If you live elsewhere, local law may give you similar rights: write to us and we'll help.

We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. The screening only decides whether the form accepts a request, and you can always email us instead.

11. Security

Every page and request travels over HTTPS. Contact requests are read only by our team, and our providers are bound by data protection terms. If you think something is wrong, tell us at legal@neue7.com.

12. Children

The site is meant for businesses. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

13. Changes

When this policy changes, we'll publish the new version on this page with its date.
